Background
Born in Roorkee, India; his father was a textile engineer and amateur scientist. Studied aerospace at Embry-Riddle (where he met co-founders Brian Rieger and Dan Rasmuson) and a Stanford MS in aerospace, with work on optimization, computer vision and industrial design.
Early engineer at DroneDeploy, then led the data analytics platform at Planet Labs, where watching teams struggle to label satellite imagery led to Labelbox. Calls himself an 'engineer, entrepreneur & designer'; a licensed pilot who posts flying videos and music on his site.
