Turing's technical co-founder. He is an ML researcher who built the vetting and matching system that turned Turing's developer pool into a data supply chain. With Ece Kamar named CTO in Sep 2026, his current title is unclear.

Background

IIT Bombay dual degree (B.Tech + M.Tech CSE, 2005), where he trained in ML under Soumen Chakrabarti and Sunita Sarawagi. MS CS from Stanford (2007). He has papers and patents cited 700+ times across entity extraction, web spam detection, question answering and text categorisation.

He founded and led Rover, an ML content-recommendation engine, and became SVP Data Science at Revcontent after it acquired Rover (early 2017). He co-founded Turing with Jonathan Siddharth in 2018.

What they run now

Historically Turing's vetting, matching and platform technology. Recent appearances are framed around Turing's work on 'advancing superintelligence'. His role after Kamar's arrival needs checking.

Who they amplify

Accounts whose posts Vijay has reposted recently: Turing, Alankar Jain, Nitish Kulkarni.

Why it matters here

Little direct relevance. He knows how to vet and match experts at scale, which is the core operating problem of any specialist network. His status after the CTO change is worth watching as a possible 2026 transition.

How to reach

On X as @krishnanvijay. Speculation: technical questions about expert vetting and quality measurement are more likely to get a reply than commercial pitches.

What we could not establish
  • Current title and responsibilities after Ece Kamar became CTO (1 Sep 2026).
  • Dates and upload year of recent podcast appearances.
  • Location.
